All The Cat that’s Fit to Sell
This nugget comes courtesy of a disgruntled (former) TV news anchor in Anytown, Ind. - where, apparently, a fixture of the noon newscasts is to highlight one of the cuddly cats up for adoption at the local Humane Society. Apparently this fella neglected to mention a bit of ACTUAL news before diving into the cat-hawking one afternoon, prompting an all-staff reminder from his boss that “we’re here to deliver the news, not sell cats.”
